Cannes Yachting Festival 2024
The 47th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival is just around the corner! Taking place from September 10 to September 15 in the Old Port and Port Canto, this edition promises to be one of the most ambitious to date for the international boat show. In addition to presenting close to 700 boats measuring between 5 and 50 meters in length, the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival is set to unveil a new area dedicated to new motor boats measuring up to 12 to 13 meters in length.
A first for the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new marina, located in Porto Canto between the sailing and yacht brokerage and toy area, has space to accommodate up to 170 boats, with room for 30 on land and 140 in the water. Part of the Cannes Yachting Festival's latest features to compensate for some of the major modernization works taking place at the Old Port this year through to 2026, other stand-out features at the event include the "Innovation Route" devised to highlight exhibitors that offer eco-efficient solutions to help reduce the industry's environmental impact.
As you explore these exhibitors and their solutions, which range from alternative engine power, consumption-reduction systems, or eco-friendly materials, we encourage you to think about your water system. Being able to filter and have access to clean water is an essential part of yachting. Given the contamination of dock water, which raises concerns about its purity and potential health risks, utilizing reliable solutions like marine reverse osmosis filtration systems to guarantee access to safe and purified water onboard is critical while yachting.
One easy way to turn dock water into pure water is through puRO, an automatic freshwater purifier. Made from state-of-the-art materials and components, puRO's innovative technology uses reverse osmosis to purify dock water, filtering up to 0.0001 micron. As the most effective water treatment currently available, puRO's compact design and optimization ensures it recycles water efficiently and quietly and drains less water than similar systems on the market, saving time, resources, and money. Fully automatic, why not ensure your yacht is equipped with the best water purification system with puRO? Choose puRO to always enjoy safe, clean water onboard your yacht.
Efficiency in Purification
The puRO system, employing reverse osmosis, is increasingly popular on yachts for producing clean, purified water. Designed to recycle water and drain less water compared to other reverse osmosis systems on the market today, it is effective and efficient.
Maintenance Advantage
Easier to maintain than traditional water softeners, puRO reverse osmosis dock filters are nearly maintenance-free. The pre-filters need to be changed every four months and the membranes every three years, but all systems are managed via a built-in system that sends reports to puRO, who monitors all maintenance needs.
Protecting
Onboard
Systems
puRO can supply up to 500 litres of pure dock water an hour, filtering up to 0.0001 microns, resulting in soft, clean, spot-free water free of calcium deposits, thereby reducing dependency on external water sources.
Enhanced
Cleaning
Thanks to the easy touch screen and app, your crew can top up your tank with pure water from anywhere onboard your yacht. Fully automated, puRO will keep on running until the desired amount of purified water has been produced before flushing the membranes and turning them off.
Optimal for Washdown Systems
Reverse Osmosis dock filters are ideal for achieving spot-free results in yacht washdowns, contributing to crystal-clear windows and a hassle-free washing experience.
